The guy's at Yakattack have come out with some great new products for the kayak angler this year. My personal favorite product is their new Park-N-Pole. The Park-N-Pole is a floating stake-out / push pole for kayaks. Yes that's right, I said floating stakeout pole. I'm sure that some of you guys out there have lost a stake out pole or two. I know I have. With a floating stake out pole you will have the chance to retrieve it before it sinks to the bottom. The PNP is made of a super strong super stiff fiberglass and at 6'-2" overall length and weighing less than 1.5 lbs this pole is easily stowed away on most kayaks. The PNP is equipped with an ergonomic handle which is also a foot for poling. The wide design of the foot allows for better poling traction in mud and when using as a Stake out pole it gives you a much more positive grip driving it into the ground. If you're in the market for a stakeout /push pole I would suggest this product. The best thing about it is that it's affordable.
The next product from Yakattack is the VISICarbon Pro. The VISICarbon Pro is another new product for 2011. The VISICarbon Pro is a must have safety item for any kayak angler. Yakattack has created a quality light weight, low drag and stylish safety light/flag, which is easily stowed away when not in use. VISICarbon Pro models are available to fit RAM, Tallon, and Scotty mounting systems. Every VISICarbon Pro model is designed to also fit a 1-3/4" "rocket launcher" rod holder.

The Mighty Mount is Yakattack's new mounting system. It's small, tough and versatile. This mount works great with the new Panfish and Panfish Portrait camera mounts. Very easy to install and with its low profile design it's not an eye sore. It makes for a very clean install. The Mighty Mount can be used on most track systems and can be used with the Screwball. There are a few other options. The Mighty Mount is available with or without hardware, a Scotty mount kit as well as the slide tracks kit.

The Panfish Camera Mount by Yakattack is again another quality product by the guys at Yakattack. Designed for over the shoulder video, this is by far the best camera mount available for the kayak angler that wants to capture that day on the water. The PanFish is equipped with a split mast design with adjustable friction discs that allow easy panning of the camera. Nothing to loosen, just grab and turn. It can also be used with The Mighty Mount, which allows the PanFish to be installed and removed with ease. The PanFish holds most small point & shoot cameras. I use the Kodak Play sport and it holds it very secure. I highly recommend this mount! No other mount can compare!
